Hannah Houts is a brand manager for Glad, focused on shaping the next generation of innovation for the brand. Across roles, she’s been drawn to the same challenge: owning the business end-to-end and finding new ways to move it forward.
“When you work in brand, you’re connecting the work across teams and turning it into clear decisions for where we go next. Each day we’re making choices that move us forward in a positive way,” says Hannah.
Hannah came to Clorox through our internship program as she was earning her MBA, but her career path has been anything but traditional.
“When I graduated from college, I actually worked in reality TV development,” she explains. “I liked how collaborative it was and how it pushed you to think creatively. That’s what I get to do now in brand—partnering across the organization to build big, creative ideas that help grow the business.”
“Clorox really values the different perspectives people bring from their unique backgrounds, and they trust you to lean into them,” Hannah continues. “My experience in TV gave me a strong connection to consumers and culture, and it’s something I’ve been encouraged to apply in my work. I’m really grateful that Clorox gave me the opportunity to step into a new industry while bringing my unique perspective into what I do every day.”
