Kevin Jacobsen
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kevin Jacobsen is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Clorox Company.
In this role, which he assumed in January 2019, Jacobsen has executive oversight of Clorox’s financial activities, including general accounting, external reporting, financial planning, treasury, tax and investor relations. He added responsibility for internal audit in October 2022. He was previously senior vice president and chief financial officer, a role he assumed in April 2018.
Jacobsen served as vice president – financial planning and analysis from 2011 until being appointed CFO. Other positions with Clorox have included vice president – Finance, Business Development and International; vice president – Finance, Specialty Division; as well as finance management positions for the Kingsford, Cat Litter and Brazil businesses and the Product Supply Organization. He started his Clorox career in 1995.
Before joining Clorox, he spent five years working for General Motors Corporation in numerous finance and accounting roles based out of New York.
Jacobsen serves on the board of directors of energy company Avista Corp., as well as the Economic Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
He holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of California, Riverside.
