Nina Barton is executive vice president and chief growth and strategy officer — driving innovation, value superiority, strategy and portfolio shaping that structurally positions the company for faster growth. The commercial functions report to Barton, enabling a more integrated and proactive approach to meet evolving consumer trends. Prior to this role, Barton served as executive vice president and group president of Clorox’s Care & Connection businesses.
Barton has a proven record of creating and building businesses, leading successful turnarounds, and growing profitable brands in the U.S. and globally against intense competition. She was most recently the CEO of Vytalogy Wellness, a modern wellness company that fuses science and quality ingredients to create highly efficacious products that have a transformative impact on consumers’ lives. In this role, she was responsible for leading the company’s more than 600 employees and driving the strategy and growth of its award-winning vitamin and supplement brands, Natrol and Jarrow Formulas.
Throughout her extensive career in consumer packaged goods, Barton has been involved in growing dozens of successful businesses, especially in her previous role as global chief growth officer at The Kraft Heinz Company, where she was responsible for leading the company’s global strategy, including e-commerce, R&D and marketing. Prior to her 10-year tenure at Kraft Heinz, she held several other positions of increasing responsibility at Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal and Procter & Gamble.
Barton received her Master of Business Administration degree in strategy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing and finance from McGill University in Canada.
